March – Tips of the Month!

Some important information in this Tips of the Month!!

• Our pool & spa opening forms have been mailed out, if for some reason you did not receive yours, here is the online link to the 2020 Pool Opening Form. Which can be filled out and emailed to kim@aquapoolspapros.com or faxed to us, 847-265-5282!
• Getting your form in as soon as possible for the best scheduling!
• If you need a sand change, circle/check the option on your opening form. Due to the overwhelming workload in the spring we will not be doing pool filter sand changes during the peak pool-opening season. We highly recommend that your filter sand be replaced in April and prior to your pool opening date if the weather permits.
• If your spa was winterized last year it is about that time to open it up! Our 2020 Spa Opening Form is now available as well! These forms can also be filled out electronically and sent to kim@aquapoolspapros.com or faxed at 847-265-5282!

Pool Tip:

Keep an eye on your pool cover! Making adjustments when needed to hopefully prevent the cover from falling into your pool! Investing in an automatic pool cover, if you have an inground, can save you time as well as money in damages. There is not much you can do to the pool prior to opening it once warmer weather approaches! Hoping we have a long, hot summer so everyone can enjoy their backyard & relax!

Spa Tip:

For those who kept their spas open this winter now is the prime time to drain, clean & refill your spa. Prior to the craziness of the summer kicks into full gear! When dumping the spa water it is essential to “purge” the spa twice a year using our amazing Total Cleanse product. Check out this video on YouTube! Link to Total Cleanse Purge. Once the spa is cleaned, filled & up to temperature, stop by the shop to check your chemical levels to see how the spas water is & what adjustments need to be made, with our free water tests!
