What a wonderful season we have had! We hope everyone enjoyed their pools as much as you wanted!

Now is a great time to drain, clean and refill your spa before the brutal winter temperatures come. To ensure the best functionality and cleanliness of your spa, stop in and ask a sales associate how to use the Hot Tub Cleanse! This product works wonders and completely disinfects your spa, by removing all traces of MOLD & BIO-FILM. Which is really dead skin cells and other organics put in the tub by your own body or if the tub was not used for a while! YIKES! We do offer this service, so you are not in the dark about how to do it!
How to Purge your spa: Start by removing your filters and adding the proper amount (1tsp per 100gals) directly into the spa’s water. Run this product through the system for one jet cycle, this typically last anywhere from 25-45 minutes. After the jets turn off, you will be left with gross looking scum on the surface of the water / the walls of your spa. Don’t panic, this means the Cleanse did it’s job!!
Once the jets are off, kill the power to your spa and start to drain your water as well as stating to clean off your walls while the water is draining. (HINT: It is 100x easier cleaning the scum off your spas walls while the water is still warm, rather than letting all the water out and the tub cools off). I like to give my spa a good spray down with the hose once it is almost completely drained, to rinse any access product off. After this step, start to fill the spa back up. Place your hose in the filter area to help prevent any air locks. Don’t worry, if you do get an air lock, we can walk you through how to release it over the phone! You can also do a weekly maintenance dose of the Cleanse Serum, to prevent build up of bio-film.
Allow your spa to fill to the proper level, then turn your breaker back on and set the temperature to your usual. Once the spa is at the desired temp, bring in a water sample so we can help you start balancing your chemicals!
