July – Tips of the Month!
Uncategorized
Quick Swim by Poolife, is now back in stock! Stop in with a water sample to check your chlorine levels, especially with all of the rain we have been getting. If needed, Back to Blue is always a great option to bring back the crystal clear water, if the pool happened to “get away” from you. Keep your pump functioning properly by emptying the skimmer & pump baskets at least once a week. Realistically when high winds and rain is present as well. This debris can pass the skimmer basket (such as cotton wood) and clog your pumps impellor, which is what helps the pump run and create suction.
Spas will typically increase from the set temperature since the sun is beating on the cover as well as when the pumps cycle, that is creating extra heat in the tub. You can alter your spas filtration cycles in order to prevent a big increase in the set temperature! Leaving the cover cracked with a washcloth will also help.
After your 4th of July party, be sure to add oxidizer to your spa to help further break down what the chlorine has already broken down!
