Tip of the Month
In our Newsletter this spring we discussed the problems that excessive stabilizer levels cause in pools. Basically high levels mean you need to keep the chlorine level in your pool much higher than normal. It slows down the reaction time of the sanitizer and it can cost much more to keep the pool clean and healthy. We highly advise that you have a partial draining of the pool done to lower the CYA level if it is high. Preforming a test of your pool water in our lab will tell us what your CYA level is. We can lower the water in the pool more than we normally do when we are winterizing it. You will need to re-fill it to the proper level when we are done. Please stop by with a sample and discuss this with our staff if needed.
