April 2012
Tip of the Month
Spring has sprung and summer even reared its head for a week or two.
What does this mean to pool owners? It means that the warm temperatures have all ready started to turn your pool green under the winter cover.
We have seen numerous pools that we have opened have issues with green, algae infested water. Our advise is not to wait too long to have your pool opened. We may have another unusual warm spell in April or early May which could really turn your pool into a swamp.
You could add some liquid chlorine to the pool but only if you circulate the water under the cover so it doesn’t damage the surface.
